open TP area E65 - GSM-Forum

can some one please tell me how can you take the metal part where the TP is (E65). the metal piece is weld straight on, how can you take it off to get to the TP area

try this just use cutter or some cutting tools you have

You can use a NIPPER

or a Wire CUTTER

Carefully try to pry open the metallic shield starting from the Corners.
Be careful not to bend the phones PCB while you are doing this.
Do not apply too much force. Take note that sometimes there are very
small resistors and capacitors that reside near the Metallic Shielding.
Be wary that you don't accidentally dislodged them from the PCB.
