SPT asking for modem port! [ANSWERED] - GSM-Forum

I have bought A NEW SPT BOX and installed it on win 7 and now I have activated it. the problem is that after the program is opened, in the PORT section I only have Usb as a choice. and while trying to flash, I get the error:Can Not Found Modem Port. how I can install the modem?

KIES software must be installed,, if not maybe you need to install it manually

go to device manager, and check if the driver is properly installed.!

on samsung page this is official samsung software

i see KIES is not working in win 7.

KIES working on all windows even on windows 8.

The Problem with running kies in windows 7 solved by removing a string in kies.exe.config.
but the problem with com port in spt still exist. Please if you have a true procedure in installing spt on win 7 let me know.

i am having the same issue. i couldnot activate it yet. but i am having the same issue with opening the SPT box on win 7. When i open run as admin it donot open it just flah and disappear. and when i open without as admin it do open on second attempt but no modem port. Please some one help
