Wifi problem after unlock/default efs/imei? Solution here

To all that are facing problems using wifi after any procedure, (unlock, repair imei or reset efs defaults) and your wifi is not fully turn it on.. or it just cant connect to any network...

Tested in Note3 sm-n900 and S4 i337(m)..

1. Root your device with any method you like... (cfroot, kingo, etc)

2. Install root explorer 3.0 (or any newer version available)

3. Open root explorer and locate EFS folder (dont forget to mount as R/W) and Delete it (it maybe will say error, just try again) you know it is done when you press power button to turn off (it will power off without select power off option)

4. Repair imei/unlock with spt of course and after that.. wifi will work again...

Tested by me..

Hey guys, I'm having the same issue on my i337. Could someone explain a few things on the steps of vickcar13 op?

I have already installed root explorer and located EFS folder. I don't understand what "(dont forget to mount as R/W)" means. And after that how do I "Repair imei/unlock with spt".

Sorry if my questions sound dumb, I am a total newbie...

before unlock the S4 SGH-i337M
Backup the NVM and Root the phone before Unlock
root file "CF-Auto-Root-jfltecan-jfltevl-sghi337m.tat.md5" by odin V3.09
----------------------------------------------------------------
1- Select Supported Model From List ( SGH-i337M)
2- Put Your Phone In Download Mode
3- Reset Default EFS
In this phase
Use USB Cable attach the computer
Set your phone to download mode
Select correct com port to reset Default EFF
If every thing OK, Your phone should reboot by itself

-------------------------------------------------------------------------
4- Select Comport Use UART Cable
5- Select Repair IMEI + UNLOCK
6- Type correct IMEI
7- Do Factory Mode
In this phase you should set phone in normal mode
Use UART Cable attach to the SPT box
Use device manager to decide which port to select
If ever thing OK, Your phone should be factory reset by itself

if get time out error
keep phone connect to the box
reboot
after reboot, wait the phone fully boot up
type *#06#, the IMEI should show 00 or Null
that is good sign, then click factory mode

-------------------------------------------------------------------------
Write back NVM file

Try make one "reset efs" then Unlock/Super Imei and again Unlock/Super Imei.
Remember 1 Reset - 2 unlock/imei
WIFI problem solved

Tested in N900 Note 3 Movistar Argentina
