KU 990iG Is this model supports for unlock? - GSM-Forum

On the IMEI Sticker it was shown KU990i.But when we connect that handset to software press the search button it will shows KU990iG.Is this model supports for unlock?If this model dos'nt support for unlock is there possible to flash this handset with KU990i flash file?After that may I unlock this handset?In this way is this possible for unlock?Can any body solve my problem please?Thanks.

1. Check manual model select.
2. Select Ku990i
3. Select Ku990i firmware.
4. Flash phone.
5. Unlock phone.
6. Done.

When I flash with KU990i flash file it was stoped when the media file is writting it was stoped in 50 percent written.I already tried three times.Now what can do?Its urgent.Solution please.

After some triles I restarted my system and try at once.After the system restart my problem is solved.Thanks to Andrew_tm and Z3X Team.

I have a similar problem. Phone is KU990iG but on sticker KU990I
Flashed it with KU990i Firmware and got the yellow screen with "refreshing"
Flashed it again with the above Fw (10b MAR -12-2009) and now I've got "OTP block unavailable".
Please can you explain how to properly flash the KU990iG to work again?

1. Download LG qualcomm tool 2.0.7 from support area.
2. select in LG Qualcomm tool 2.0.7 KC910 in model list and check in options: manual model select.
3. Press unlock button and in dialog window selec New Algo restore from backup.
4. Select first time backup your KU990iG.
5. After restore phone must work but locked.
6. Select in model list ku990 , check in options manual model select and press unlock.
7. Done.
