Member: 1838509 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | Blocked IMEI # - Please Help :( I am new to cellphones and such. I have a bit of a dilemma. My boyfriend got me a Samsung Galaxy S3 under his account a while back, but we ended up breaking up over the weekend and to be an a-hole that he is, he called T-Mobile and reported the phone stolen/lost, so now my IMEI number is blocked/blacklisted according to T-Mobile. I was just wondering if there is anyway that I might be able to change my IMEI number in order to be able to use the phone? I don't mind getting a prepaid plan, but I would need to first get this IMEI issue resolved. Can someone please point me in the right direction? I do not mind paying if someone can guide me how I can get this done. I do not know if this matters, but the phone is rooted. I am not too computer savvy or cellphone savvy, but I followed some guides online yesterday to root the phone and I think I was successful at doing so. Any help would be greatly appreciated and I do apologize in advance if this is the wrong section to post this in. |
