S5220 Unlock Problem


Hi,

I'm trying to unlock 1 of these phones with Z3X but I beleive I need to flash the phone first?

It's a UK handset originally on Orange but I want to check what firmware to flash it with first?

Can anyone help please?

just flash any firmware available in support.

after flashing complete, proceed to unlocking.

Hi, thanks for the info, I have doenloaded the latest upload in the shell which I am now flashing. There is no help button btw, if you click the image then it opens a help box but not specific for this phone.

At the time of typing this the log is currently upto...

Its been on 'Connecting to Device... OK' for about 5 minutes now and doesnt seem to be doing anything, is this normal?

press vol down then insert usb cable when flashing, this mine for your ref.

Hi, thanks for this, I already assumed vol down as there is no * key, so I just kept trying and it just went on the 5th attempt .
