i9195 4.2.2 unlock error, root false
 

ok, I have been reading lots of posts about this phone models and knox blocking communications and reporting a false root.

I have rooted this phone 3 times so far.

1. vroot 1.7.8 the phone is rooted but knox still actively blocking z3x
2. installed busybox and supersu 1.8 knox disable but no joy
3. installed cw-autoroot from chainfire, executed supersu and disable knox :( still nothing.
4. with supersu installed, tried to run vroot. nothing

I am now flashing it again with latest firmware xxUBNB3

will try the long rooting and see what happened.

any suggestion will be appreciated.

I did one today, rooted with kingo but they replace completely the recovery mode.
So you still need recovery-clockwork-6.0.4.6-serranoltexx.tar
and
S4Mini_RootKit_v1

after root using kingo, run supersu and disable knox.
now you need to flash custom recovery and install S4Mini_RootKit_v1 from recovery.
