i dont think being a metro variant has any difference. i have t-mobile variant and i dont see OEM unlock option. in the developers section.

Why do you need root for G890A. Just unlock with new exynos unlock solution the write cert via modem. No root or engineer files necessary. All done with USB cable

@markhaines1985 is giving all of you the fruit (factory fw) but also you wan he to peel it for you ....

As I said before in this thread J700T and also G550T factory fw doesn't have "OEM unlock option" but with a little thinking time you will get it done.

Previous hint: enable usb debug in STOCK FW, use the factory fw and your mind to get it done.

Another hint: after you succeed to enable usb in STOCK FW use some adb command floating in the forum to complete setup.

Well now I peeled the fruit for all stuck people, it's time for you to cut it (search and think) and eat it (profit $$$)

so i followed all steps and enabled oem with your command and frp is still on
