LG MS428 pattern lock
 

I have a LG MS428 and cant remove pattern lock. Really not that familar with the LG line Yet. the phone is Metro PCS.

I put the phone in download mode.

does the phone have to be rooted?
Should i be connected to the z3x box or PC?

It has a APP called 360 security and I think that is what gives the pattern lock. Also now its stuck on the boot logo Metro Pc.
when i try to factory reset the phone the program just locks up.

If phone still Goes download mode Flash same Software verion: MS42810c

You need reflash phone with checked:
flash in direct mode
erase user data after flash

360 security this not standard app.

I reflashed the firmware and now it boots ok but still have pattern lock with 360 security.

I was able to remove 360 app security.
1st long press on the settings icon and drag it to the bottom bar.
2nd long press the settings icon and look for the 360 app and drag it to the uninstall location at top of screen.
thats it the pattern lock is gone.

I want to thank every body for there help.


Oh by the way how do you unlock this phone.

Same issue trying to remove PIN lock from same model (normal PIN lock, not "360 security app").

And phone stuck on Metro PCS logo and does not advance from there.

Assistance needed please

Reflash phone with latest firmware version. Check in options:
- flash in direct mode
- erase user data after flash.
