Need a little guide in choosing the correct firmware - GSM-Forum

Hello to all,

As I am a newbie, I need a little guide in choosing the correct firmware for the phone.
As I can see there are several firmwares available in the z3x server for a particular model.
I think these models are according to country and must be lock to other network operators.

I am from India. Please guide or suggest me download the correct one.
If a mobile is dead, then cant check the firmware version. Hence how to know the correct firmware?

As u can see there are 17 type of several firmwares available for I8262 model.
Please Please Please Please help me....
is there any country code to find the correct firmware?

Ok then lets take the first one from the first picture

i.e

I8262XXAMEB_I8262OJVAME2.ZIP

Two parts are here. First part and second part. Both have different codes written.
First one is I8262XXAMEB
and
second one is I8262OJVAME2

please clear my doubt, which part should be taken into consideration, to check the country and the operator???
