Mr. BLANG help!!!!!! I897

I have unlocked a Samsung I897 way back April, thru patch unlocking method and then flashing it since it got a problem with audio after unlock and it worked fine.

Until yesterday, my customer came to me and told me that his phone returned to being LOCKED. He tried to put CODES on his phone thinking that it was just simply a code for his sim card. So that when he came to me yesterday, every time I turn the phone on, there is this notification

"Network unlock PIN number is entered incorrectly. Contact your Service Provider."

I tried to read the codes thru Z3X and I was able to get the Unlock Codes but then I cannot put it on the phone since every time I turn on the phone the above message comes out.

So I tried to reset the phone thru *2767*3855# and voila, it is now asking for the SIM network unlock PIN but here's the problem, when I try to put the the codes that I have read thru Z3X, it says

"Network unlock request unsuccessful. Number of attempts remaining 6."

Please Mr. BLANG help me as what to do with this......

TIA

Sir BLANG, do you mean the master code, but the phone is not asking for a master code, even if I have used all attempts, I have now consumed my 10 attempts to enter Network Unlock codes but the phone did not ask for a master code. I again did a reset with *2767*3855# and the counter resets to 10 again but the calculated code doesn't work?

TIA
