My friend try Wipe EFS G901F BUT Can't find GOOD CERT file.
z3x Auto backup file in .tar format how to restore cert and imei for this phone.

The cert file has absolutely nothing to do with the device being unlocked or not.

I'm sorry I thought that if you got a cert file from an factory Unlocked handset, then the handset set it's wrote to becomes unlocked?

The efs contains the lock, not the CERT.

You can wipe the EFS. That unlocks the phone. It leaves you with no IMEI though lol. The only other way to unlock the phone is either with codes or a direct unlock (MSL). There's no "easy" way around it.

Hi, i would like to ask if certs files are available on z3x supports or not? because you can get certs from other boxes like, octopus and spt box..
it would be really great if z3x also support certs for samsung files, and upload them on support site..
