Tested on SM-R860 and SM-R870...

So IMHO also valid for SM-R890.

If problems like unknown device in Device Manager... switch green and white...

User with dead SM-R870 (GVI3) told about endless loops and Diver Request for unknown PID...

Maybe similar problem if dead by GVK4...
For me it looks like sboot.bin is gone...

Requested Driver is:
VID_04E8&PID_1100&MI_00

Maybe somebody have an idea...

Thanx in advance.

Example of steady.bin aka eToken from GW4...

Looks to me like "Factory Token"...
Code:
Device Manufacturing
Taken from GW4 with Combination Firmware running...

It is dumped via dd from 4 MB steady partition...

Samsung seems to use Copy & Paste Protection... so RSA 2048 Signature is broken...

Maybe 2 Bytes missing or... FFFF IMHO more then 65 000 attempts...

Only as info...

Best Regards

Hello folks,
Is it possible to remove Reactivation Lock from GW4 R890?

I looked through the posts here and didn't find it, did I miss it?

Thanks.

tested successfuly with netodin... We know from tizen world...
The 6 years old tool.

tiny hint.
Rename/remove .abc from file extension... To unpack with 7zip...

Result and ready to use in netodin:

Code:
smr870_eva8_oxm_v1.tar
smr880_eva8_oxm_v1.tar
smr890_eva8_oxm_v1.tar

original firmware contain fota.zip and *.lz4 compressed files...
But our old netodin not support *.lz4...

Best regards
