Z3X "Searching Samsung modem... not found"
 

Hello, i bought a Z3X box with all the cables.

But it wont find my phone!

In "X3X Samsung tool v13.3" it wont find my Samsung galaxy S3. It says:

Log:

"Searching Samsung modem... not found" or "Phone not found"

It says that all the time.

Do you know the problem solver?

press help button in software. follow manual. dont forget install drivers.

I have installed all the drivers.. when i plug in the phone directly to the computer it gets found. But when i put it in z3x box it says device unknown in windows 7.

But i have tried putting different drivers on the "unknown device" such as Samsung modem and so on.. but nothing works.
I have tried now for over 7 hours :(

u dont plug the s3 directly into the box.you plug the s3 via usb cabe to the laptop/pc then plug in the z3x box.if ur unlocking the s3 make sure the phone is rooted first

No not unlocking, more like imei modifications that i am out after.

yes now you can repair imei i9300 with original imei or not original imei: work network yes


At first I will re-process change imie .this time type imie as you like original or not-original ( If you had written the original will not need to patch in the end the subject. but sometimes the network does not work with original imie)

1. Select Model i9100 and Select port
2. The first arrived USB in Mobile. on repair choose com press pepair
4. Type imie no. press ok
5. After Rebooting phone .... remove the USB cable. Put cable RJ45

Fixed it can you sway how you fixed it I've been trying for awhile Rooted SU etc. Always getting modem not found.
USB modem on. USB modem off still the same.
I have the UART cable still not getting picked up
Probably motherboard issue.
I have Repaired IMEI number before on S3 9300 this one is 9305

I am facing modem/phone not found error while doing flash.

But in Device Manager in My Computer There is Samsung Mobile Usb Modem
