Error 9 iTunes iphone 4 in updating from 4.3 to 4.3.1 - GSM-Forum

please try this solution, and let me know

Hi if you encounter an error 9 or 3194 on itunes if you are updating your to the latest 4.3.1 fw, please follow tihs:

Running PC with Windows 7 64 bit. and iphone4 on 4.3

I encountered that error and still managed to boot my iphone4.

- update your iphone4 to 4.3.1 using original fw via itunes.
process will continue upto 80%(assuming) then error 9 appears.

- just run the latest redsn0w for 4.3.1.
- put iphone4 to DFU mode.
- continue redsn0w process and let it do all the work.
- it will take some time downloading and installing some stuffs to your iphone4. just let it be and wait..
- IF iphone4 restarts then will stuck on connect to itunes logo on iphone4 screen, DONT PANIC!
- run the latest TinyUmbrella software, then just EXIT RECOVERY. then your good to go.

thats it.
