3G 4.1 Problems : Urgent Help Needed!!!

Hi friends,
I have this 3g phone which was initially in a lower firmware and 4.1, and due to quick drain of battery i gave it to a iphone restoring person and he re-installed the system with 6.15 firmware and same 4.1.. .and the problem still persists...

and i heard that if i can downgrade the 4.1 to 4.0 or so, that battery problem will be eliminated.

And another problem is that itunes is not recognizing my phone, in diagnostics it does read the iphone but it is not popping up on the left window.. did everything indicated in this forum and online to even reinstalling the entire OS (Windows Vista)... still no hopes..

and when i downloaded redsnow0.9.6.rc8 to reinstall 4.1 again to see what happens, when it showns "downloading jailbreak data" on the iphone, suddenly the redsnow crashes on the computer and closes... and this has happened for the 10th time... so dont know what to do!!!

And after i tried this, all the free softwares that i have downloaded dont work anymore!!! then just open and then close immeidately... and later only i found that i if update even 1 of those softwares, the entire downloaded stuff start to work!!! wierd...

has only one faced the above problems? can you tell me what to do?
