3g 8gb i phone BIG PROBLEM. PLEASE HELP
 
hi, i have 3g 8gb iphone. which i bought it. its hangs on apple logo. dont know what version is it on. its got big problem which it does not recognise by itunes. i have put it on dfu mode and i have also put it on recovery mode but it just dosnt connect to itunes. now i have another 3gs 16gb iphone and when i put my 3gs in dfu mode or recovery mode it does connect to ituens that means my itunes has no problem. can any one help me how to restore or update my iphone when itunes not recognise? please help

try with itunes 9.2 or 10 if same problem try with another pc

what the message apear when you connect your iphone on computer? did you try to check with other cable?? or tryed to clean connector?

Well, you have a nice paper weight from apple. If itunes doesn't recognize it in DFU or Recovery Mode, i think you can't recover it.

hi, i hav tryied in my both laptop. i have also tryied diffrent cable. still same problem. and when i connect iphone to cable apple logo comes up straightaway. no messsage comes on pc when i connect.

Disasemble your phone. Check dock connector on pcb. Check for any damage. Clean with spirits, and assemble. If your phone still dont get recognised by itunes, disasemble, and remove proximity flex. Try to connect again in dfu and recovery mode. Let me know the result.
