3gs 3014 error and dfu mode
 

i try to upgrade 3gs from 3.1.3 to ios4 spirit2pwn mode (From iPhone 3GS 3.1.3 Spirit Jailbreak to iOS4 Sn0wbreeze | Life in 0 and 1 ) and after reboot phone stuck in dfu mode and can`t restore i try 4.0-4.0.1 but i get error 3014 even try with umbrela ssh backup on 4.0 but still the same error.

Error 3014 usually means the battery is too low to flash the phone.

Can you get the phone out of DFU but holding power and home for 20seconds?

I'm not sure the phone charges in DFU but I know it does in recovery

i try to hold home and power its reconnect to pc but not power on display allways dfu mode i check with usb view and its in dfu mode

are you sure about 3014 error its low battery i will try charge and ahother battery tomorrow

Error 3014 usually is down to a low battery but there could of course be other problems ( previous errors ) that have reduced the battery to this state.

Try a charged battery and let me know what happens and I'll do all I can to help with further advice

i made fresh install xp and itunes now i`m on 4.0.1 but anyway my iphone its alive
now need to wait for jail and unlock

no bro..battery is not low..apple stoped downgrading the iphone so that was error..

i have the same problem can you tell me the procedure pls...

i have the sam problem...just download spirit....than start the spirt conect the phone on usb then press jailbrake...and that is that...phone is jailbroken,and you have cydia...and phones return in the original state....

I use another fresh installed xp and itunes and upgrade to 4.0.1

Error 3014
 

Hey Guys,

Error 3014 usually comes when iTunes is not able to connect to the apple server to authorize the ipsw file. (in 3GS)
This usually happens when the hosts file has been edited and added or altered with extra servers for downgrade.

no shsh on file so that is the reason use the The Firmware Umbrella to back up all fw from 4.0.1 and u will not have future problems to downgrade your phone but this will work only for fw 4.0.1 and above if you backup all shsh
