I haven't tried but some 1 in here said that. apple still signing for version 4.0.1 so just put your iphone to dfu mode and then choose 4.0.1. after that if it works you can jailbreak and unlock

better say there's no jailbreak and unlock for 3gs fw 4.02
it doesn't make sense it can be unlocked and every1 knows without jailbreak device you can't unlock the device definetely.

Even ultrasnow 1.1.1 can take care of it but useless=0

firmware 4.0.2 can not be jailbreak, but can be unlock because the modem firmware is still 05.13.04 and ultrasn0w still support modem 05.13.04.
So downgrade your iphone to 4.0.1(itune still allow to downgrade to 4.0.1), use jailbreakme to jailbreak and unlock your iphone like normal

You cannot jailbreak iOS 4.0.2 on the iPhone 3GS using redsn0w 0.9.5. It is possible only with the iPhone 3G and the Non MC model iPod Touch 2G.

Also, an unofficial PwnageTool was released the last day to jailbreak iPhone 3GS on iOS 4.0.2. After jailbreaking it, you could unlock it using Ultrasn0w 1.1-1.

yes u can by saving your SHSHs to saurik then downgrade to version 4.0.1 then jailbreak and unlock
