3GS 4.3.1 stuck in recovery - error 3194 (Black screen)

Hello.

I have my iPhone 3GS (4.3.1 05.13.04 BB) stuck in recovery mode, and cannot get it out. At first I had restored it with custom 4.3.1 firmware (sn0wbreeze 2.5.1). After restore it got back to recovery mode. Then I used redsn0w (0.9.6rc12) to boot tethered. It booted OK, but every time the phone shuts down I had to use redsn0w.

After some time tried to restore again with custom 4.3.1 firmware, it came with error 3194. Tried to restore with original firmwares (4.3, 4.3.1, 4.3.2) - all came with error 3194. When I tried to restore to 4.1 - error 28 came.

Now the phone is in recovery mode and no matter what firmware I try to restore (custom or original), it comes with an error 3194.

Tried to edit host file several times, no luck.

P.S. I use windows 7.

Any help??

2. It will give u error 1015 at the end
3. Use tiniy umbrella to get out of recovery mode

Had dismantled the phone and kept battery disconnected for an hour. Then iPhone restored to 4.1. Bad thing is that now it is no 05.14.02 baseband. I will need to upgrade it to 06.15.00 to unlock with ultrasn0w.

I had the same error too. Then I have read that disconnecting motherboard from the battery helps. I have left motherboard disconnected about an hour. After putting the phone back together I was able to restore to fresh 4.1.

Good luck.
