3GS WiFi Issue: Only can connect to WiFI networks when in close range! HELP!!!!!!!!!

Here's the issue: I can only connect to WiFi networks when I'm in very close range, for example, I must be within 20-25 feet of any router, otherwise my 3GS cannot detect any network that exists.

Here are the specs of my 3GS:

New Bootrom
Running i0S 5.0 (jailbroken and unlocked with redsn0w 9.9.b7 and Ultrasn0w 1.2.4)
16 gig model
baseband 5.13.04

I've already Reset Network Settings and Reset All Settings (neither 'reset' worked).

This WiFi issue began occuring about 2 months ago, and I cannot remember what tiggered it?

Perhaps there is someone out there who knows the root issue behind this kind of problem. If it's a hardware issue--which I think it may be--what part(s) exactly do I need to replace? And why?

I've replaced many parts on 3GS', but I don't how what's going on here, if you can help...PLEASE respond!!!!

Thank you for the help!!!!

What's the rationale behind updating to baseband 6.15 to fix my WiFi issue? the 6.15. baseband from what I understand causes GPS location issues, and battery life issues among other troublesome issues. What's wrong with my 5.13.04 baseband?

GO OPEN THE IPHONE 3GS > LOOK AT THE WIFI CONNECTOR ( IF YOU KNOW WHERE IT IS ) from the top board on the left corner if it is connected

if it's NOT then CONNECT IT and IT WILL SOLVE your PROBLEM

and IF IT IS CONNECTED RIGHT then try to DISASSEMBLY THE WHOLE iPHONE and PUT a NEW WIFI ANTENNA and LET US KNOW.
