Australian 3GS in the UK - no service

Hi guys, anyone help on this one?

Australian 3GS I downgraded to 4.1 then unlocked using redsn0w/ultrasn0w (baseband now 6.15) as usual. However, although the iphone is apparently unlocked ok I get "No Service" on the signal bar using any UK sim. But if I put the customer's original Australian sim card back into it, it picks up an Orange signal OK (which is presumably the network that Australian network piggy-backs in the UK).
No idea what to do here! Anyone come across similar probs? Help much appreciated!

Hi bro thanks for that but it didn't change anyhting. I have flashed and refashed this iphone a few times now but same problem.

Whenthe iphone came to me it was on 4.2.1 with 6.15 baseband. Iam wondering if flashing it back to 4.1 (when the baseband had already been changed to 6.15) may be the root of the problem. Any thoughts?

Hi, try to restore it with 4.3.3. Maybe 4.1 is too low.

Downgrade to 4.1 isnt reason of this problem coz i am using this method everyday... Try to switch off 3g in settings if it will pick up network then there is bb problem,,, i had same problem in past. Did u tryed to reflash bb again? And also did u deactivete after unlock procedure? And activate using SAM and orig sim? If not that could be a reasson. Post ur result
