diferent sim problem on 4.1 solved :) - GSM-Forum

to all who have problems with different sim detected after jailbreak os 4.1 with limesnow or greenpoison and activating with phonebook sim ,
here is what is needed to be done :

download ifunbox software :
http://www.pars-gsm.com/Downloads/ifunbox_en.zip

run software and sync with phone

go to /private/var/root/Library/Lockdown/

and delete folder Activation records and enter any sim card you wish

p.s. tested on 3GS i aint got 4G to test it but it should work

1. After jailbreaking, launch Cydia
2. Go to manage/sources, tap edit/add
3. type cydia.pushfix.info/ , add source
4. tap done, browse newly added source Pushfix.info
5. choose Hacktivation Patch (lockdownd), install
6. done

This doesnt support 0s 4.1....

pushfix doesnt work for version 4.1 , but this thing does work

pushfix will not work on 4.1 for an iphone , just open Lockdown folder and delete the Activation folder inside and you are ready to go with other sim

Actually let me get this straight

My Iphones locked atm so I cant use my O2 simcard but if I delete the Activation records will I be able to at least puut my O2 simcard in?

Obviously I wont be able text/call but will I be able to use my 3GB data that Im paying for?
