Cannot install furiousmod on ios5 - GSM-Forum

Hello everyone. Here comes me again...
I finally updated my iphone to ios5 (custom, so I can use gevey sim) and I preserved my baseband (04.10.01). Everything is working fine EXCEPT GEVEY SIM. There is no problem with gevey, problem is that I can not install furious mod from CYDIA. After I've added right source(s), clicked INSTALL furious mod, there comes an error (right after CONFIGURING FURIOUSMOD) ''Sub-process bzip2 has returned an error'' or something like that, and after springboard resterted there is a message in Cydia that says that furiuousmod is just half installed and have to be eresed. Is there any way to install furiousmod on iOS5?!? I have also tried to download furiousmod.deb and install it directly with ifunbox, but problem is still presented.

Hi Psakic, I had the same problem with the gevey ultra after update to ios 5.0.1 (untethered), I solved this way: install FURIOUSMOD (no matter the errors), install ULTRASN0W from cydia (no matter the errors), turn off International Assist on: Tap Settings > Phone > International Assist and reboot three or four times the iphone, if ater this you don´t get any signal, do it with the manual way / dialling to 112/ wait 2 seconds/ airplane mode/ wait until the NOT SIM message / turn off airplane mode / and youll get the signal... reboot again and youll get the sinal from your carrier without diallin 112.
The message in cydia that furiuousmod is just half installed will be continue but i just ignore it.
Do you have another better solution??? If so, i hope you share it with me. my email is [email protected]. thanks.
