custom restore just for experts
 

i have restore my iphone to custom firmware 4.3.3 using tinyumbrella AND I SET THE HOSTES TO cydia server ,i had shsg sayed for all ios ....after restore complete the phone give black screen and stuck in dfu mode ...u use fixrecovery,tinyumbrella,last redsn0w,to kik out from recovery mode but no luck ...finally i use the option (just boot theter right now)using red snow the iphone boot and go on but fiew minutes later it go off again in dfu mode ...thanks for help....

dear if u have 4g u had downgrede ur phone. u cant downgrade it through cydia. i have also a 4g regarding this error. now i m thinking to upgrde it to 5.0.1 with custom firmware through apple server. i have heared it by some one.
2. if u have 3gs u have to use red snow. then install ipad base band in it . then ur handset will work fine.

i have iphone 4 with basedband 1.59.00

1.59 i s supported banseband for unlock no big issue

Make 5.0.1 Custom Ipsw From Sn0wbreeze ,( Its Also Tether Jailbreak ) .And Put In Dfu And Pwned With RedSn0w .And Restore With 5.0.1 Custom .After Restoring Successfully Your BaseBand Must Be Preserved. Ultrasn0w Still Not Supported With 5.0.1 .You Have To Use Gevey Sim .

The reason your getting a black screen (dfu) after restore is because your shsh are not saved or your not using sauriks server for the upgrade!

Use tiny umbrella, click saved shsh (this will show you what blobs you have saved), run tss server.

As long as your blobs are saved then you will be able to restore your fone ok without the constant dfu loop

Use ifaith to downgrade to 4.3.3, very possible!
