Does an iPhone 3G running 3.1.2 need to be activated for the Wi-Fi to work???
 

I have a iPhone 3G 16gig 3.1.2 Modem Firmware 05.15.04 and it won't connect to wifi. I also have an iPhone 3G 8gig 3.1.2 Modem Firmware 05.13.04 That connects to Wi-Fi without a problem. The 16 gig, when I turn on the Wi-Fi it just says "Choose a Network" and nothing ever comes up. Whereas the 8 gig pulls up the Wi-Fi no problem. What could be wrong???
