is it factory unlock??

if yes you can update to 5.0.1 using CFW from snowbreeze 8b11 preserve BB

then jailbreak using corona 5.0.1 untethered..or redsnow 0.9.10b3 for alternative untethered JB.

Mate, he says he wants to jailbreak n use gevey sim that means it needs to b unlocked n is not factory unlocked...

do you saved ur .shsh blob for 4.3.3 ??? if no just update to v 5.0.1 there r many jailbreak tutorial available.

if yes u can downgrade to 4.3.3 its very easy

1. download these files click here
2. extract all the downloaded file to your desktop for faster access
3. open the restore file folder and open hosts folder copy the host file inside the folder and now go to C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc ( paste the hosts file...if host file already exist just replace with the new one).
4. now open tinyumberalla from restore folder connect ur device goto advance just mention the path where u saved ur .shsh file on the computer. then check
a. save all available shsh
b. request shsh from cydia
note: uncheck all other option which are not mention above
5. now open itune make sure ur iphone is on DFU mode then shift + restore then select 4.3.3 .ispw file for restoring. if u follow the instruction properly it should restore and u can see apple logo with installation running meter below on ur iphone. at last during installation it will show an error (1) or (21)....(only these two error should come or else u have to follow the itune errors with solution in this same forum.). then you can see on ur iphone screen with usb stick dont worrry follow the next step.

6. open fixrecovery folder open firxrecovery43.exe it will ask your device to put to DFU mode just do it as you did it before. then wait until it complete that's it ur phone should open up with 4.3.3 firmware.

dont have saved .shsh 4.3.3 try but error 2005

dude if you didnt have .shsh blob then go for ios 5.0.1 and jailbreak it then use latest tiny umberalla to save .shsh blob read the tutorial as i posted b4 and do it asap bcoz apple is going to release next version of ios........atb

Try this:It work for me everywhere.
Thanks this worked. I did wonder if I could just try the JB as you say originally but it takes so long to try different things due to the restore time I didn't do that option.



1. open tinyumbrellla and start the TSS server
2. from iTunes restore, shift browse to the 4.3.3 firmware
3. restore finishes but in the end throws a 1013 error
4. run redsn0w across it and jailbreak it
5. while jailbreaking it will say install activation bundles this screen appears to hang (but takes 10-20mins)
6. After this finishes it puts you in recovery mode
7. Connect to itunes, open Tiny Umbrella and exit recovery mode
8. yay it works
