help me unlock 3G - GSM-Forum

I have iphone 3G that was updated to 4.2.1 and BB was 05.15.05 .i tried to use redsnow to install ipad baseband but is just saying please wait for a very long time than normal.i downgraded firmware to 4.1 and tried redsnow but still no luck please help me with how to unlock this phone even with wifi i can look for it since cydia can be installed

U mush update your baseband to 6.15.00 using redsnow

Using redsnow no luck but u can using custom firmware together with baseband 6.15.00

iam using redsnow but it fetches ipad baseband for a very very long time .i have tried many versions of redsnow my internate is strong but no luck what must i do??

Don't install Cydia and the ipad baseban at the same time, Do the iPad baseban then restart redsnow and install Cydia. I have found there are far less redsn0w crashes when
done this way..

you can install cydia and ipad baseband in same time!try to use an computer with small configuration ex

4 or core duo with 512mb ram.
i have done with 3g with this configuration and 3gs with other computer.

use redsnow 0.9.6b5 and you must have ipad 3.3.2 firmware in redsnow folder.
