has anybody successfully downgraded 3gs to 4.1 lately??? or is it just me...

this is not my first time to downgrade ipod touch, iphone 3g and 3gs to 4.1 version...



but with this 3gs i seem to have a problem... it wont downgrade to 4.1.. error 20 appears and sometimes error 1604... i already tried using ireb, redsn0w and other tricks but still with no success... flashing with custom firmware also doesnt help...



but if ill try to flash the phone with 4.3.5 everything seems ok...



anymore advice please???

flash original 4.1 in dfu mode
flash original 4.1 again without disconnecting (important)
error occurs
use tiny umbrella to kick out of error

put unit in DFU
and restore with OFW 4.1
error 3194 occurs
use tinyumbrella to EXIT recovery...........

(then u got error 1015 if your procedure is down grade)
then kick to tiny umbrella

tried restoring the 3gs with a newly formatted laptop but still the same... and just to let you know guys that this is just the only 3gs that im having a hard time downgrading... could it be that there's something wrong with this unit???

change a pc ..it will work on another.

Success with this method. I used White Satan's JCT to delete host file.

my iphone 3gs first i updated to 4.3.5 with itune
it went to emergency mode.. then i did tetherad jailbreak with 4.3.5.. with .. redsn0w_win_0.9.8b7c but it not worked that could not change baseband and
every time when i power off i need to use redsn0w and run '' just boot tethered right now''

but dont worry use itune to restore ipsw 4.1 itune will restore
if u get eny error use ''ireb'' software and click recovery mode loop fixer
it will turn on emergency mode.. its good sign.. open (redsn0w_win_0.9.6rc16)
brooze ipsw 4.1 then click ''install cydia'' and ''install ipad baseband''
dont loose ur patience
just sit and eat popcorn it will take some time..
and every thing will be fine after that u can install ultrasnow using wifi
while installing cydia.. or u can use '' i fun box '' for unlocking 3gs manually
without wifi..

if eny one not succes then repete my procdure im sure u can do it...

solved it 4 me me on 10 sets (3gs) last night changed back to 4.1 but baseband stays same 6.15 but that loop has gone

you maybe have new boot specifically mc model 3gs. I successfully restore mine. using ifaith I created customs ipsw using my back up .shsh from tinyumbrela. using RPS to supply power on my phone. I successfully downgrade to 4.1 ang get my phone back alive from black dfu status after many tries ang attempt to recover my phone.

i tested with 3gs after make ireb and restore with 4.1 its ok with many iphons
