help to unlock my iphone 3Gs

Hey bros, new to unlock iphone. I have read all threads how to unlock iphones and im kind of confused, which the most recommended one to try?

I got a 16GB black:
version 3.1.2 (7D11)
carrier: voda Au 5.0
model: MC131X
Modem Firmware: 05.11.07

Status of the iphone, no network, when connect with itune 10, sim card inserted not supported.

what software to use & how?

i attempted but no network, i re-run program again, still no network. i reset network but no network restored.

see attached, use itune, msg displayed "..sim card not supported.." how to fix this pls?

bro, the issue here, with sim card inside, no network to access JailbreakMe, etc to con't the process in order to unlock it.

any other way pls?

Hey Bro, You mean to say after jail break process you are unable to install Cydia & UltraSn0w to unlock the phone.
If is that so..



You will be needing Ultrasn0w deb file. Download it here:
MEGAUPLOAD - The leading online storage and file delivery service

And if you need DiskAid Download it here for Mac & PC Download DiskAid

IMPORTANT: In order to Unlock your iPhone 3g or 3gS on 4.1 or 4.2/4.2.1 you will first need to change its baseband. To change your iPhone's baseband you need to use Redsn0w 0.9.6b5 . This Redsn0w 0.9.6b5 will change your baseband to 6.15.00 and then you can Unlock. How to use Redsn0w 0.9.6b5 Video Link UNLOCK iPhone 3g and 3gS on 4.1 & 4.2/4.2.1 firmwares - YouTube

When you have opened DiskAid then you need to transfer the *.deb files that you downloaded from Ultrasn0w zipped file, put them in var/root/Media/Cydia/AutoInstall. If the Cydia/AutoInstall directory is not there, then you create one as demonstrated in the video.

NOTE 1: Type Cydia folder with UpperCase "C" and AutoInstall folder with UpperCase 'A' and 'I".

Once all above is done as shown in the video, you need to restart your phone couple times, the 1st for Cydia to install the packages and second time Ultrasn0w start to work. Done.

NOTE 2: If you are stuck on Apple logo on second boot due to your own Tethered Jailbreak. Then use Redsn0w 0.9.6b6 to boot. Put iPhone in DFU mode and run redsnow with option 'just boot tethered right now'.

Bro, after following the steps, i found no "ROOT" folder as explain on the Video. (see attached pic). How to continue from here pls.
