ok forget, you can also jailbreak your phone with redsnow select 4.0 iso and jailbreak your iphone.

sir pls tell me how to go about activating iphone 4 and i dont know the carrier.
mine is on 4.3.3 atleast that is what tinyumbrella is telling me but it also tells me that it is 8F190 ipsw .
i have downloaded the restore ipsw from iclarified and also redsn0w 0.9.6rc16 for windows.
sir please explain step by step as i have never done this before and consider me a noob.
i always had unlocked using jailbreakme . com and then adding repo666 in cidia.

juste cut the onesim to micro sim
working at least to version 4.3.3

thanks sir for the help but i kind of figured it out by myself while searching the net .
all i did was with the unactivated phone tried to jailbreak it using the redsn0w mentioned above and selected the iphone3,1_4.3.3_8J2_Restore.ipsw as the file and trust me the sn0w did all the work after putting it in DFU mode according to the instructions
