today i successfully updated and jailbreaked an iphone 3gs with redsn0w_win_0.9.9b4 untethered. everything is fine. there are a lot of new features in new ios5.

sorry to late in my area gsmhosting is not opening there is a net work problem so i became late to reply all.

my device (3Gs) is factory unlocked and have old boot room, so i updated first with original ios5 then jailbreaked it with redsn0w, Its untethered i rebooted it many times.

just i faced one problem yet, that my sms can't restore in new os. i put them in right place but not shows up.
