iPhone 4 Activation Problem Urgent.... - GSM-Forum

Dear Friends,

I recevied iPhone4, when i tried to active phone its on iTunes shows.

"This sim card inserted in this iphone does not appear to be supported"

This has been updated with 4.1 version also but same result unable to activate.

Please advise.
also please let me know how to check if somebody tried to jailbreak it, or already jailbroken i check with forecast V.1.1 but unable to get answer. also want to know if this unit is official unlock or not. also i have 1 more iphone4 with same problem but version is 4.0.1. how to fix this problem please advise urgent.

You need to have an original simcard , bcs activation sim card does not work i think on version 4.1

for this u need a activated sim card..either a sim card comes with d phone or u need a card like this

carrier unlocked devices can be activated with any SIM card, the device you're having is most probably carrier locked

contact apple or at&t support for more information about your device

So if its lock, can i unlock it with your 1one Sim card? please advise also kindly tell me how i will know if this locked done by customer by using 3rd party illegal softwares.

we love or ONEsim a lot,
before i used to collect diffrent sims and it was difficult but now its so easy

if Sim1 cannot activate/ unloack this unit then how can we unlock it. also how we will know if such phone locked from customer by using 3rd party softwares. or its from locked from factory itself ? how we can check these all.

my friend brought many units from Dubai to india "as official unlocked". but this unit came back with this problem. customer he returned back to his shop after a day. how he can check if this locked by customer or from factory itself it was locked.
Please Plz..... advise urgent.
