Step 2: Extract RedSn0w.zip file by double clicking on it then launch it and press “Extras

Step 5: Tap on IPSW and select the iOS 5.1.1 IPSW form your device.

Step 6: If your SHSH blobs are stored on your computer so click on “Local” and select the SHSH blob for iOS 5.1.1, but if your SHSH blobs stored on Cydia, Click “Cydia” under the blobs section.

Step 7: After selecting IPSW and blob, RedSn0w will stitch them together to create firmware file for iOS 5.1.1 that will allow you to downgrade to iOS 5.1.1 and will inform you by a message
Blob Stitching Done” then click “Ok
Step 8: Now go back to the welcome Redsn0w screen and click “Extra” and then ”Pwned DFU

Note: Your device supposed to be in DFU mode as we have done this before on Step 1
Step 9: Now after your device finished the Pwned DFU step, open iTunes, now you should receive a message that your iPhone is in recovery mode as the screen below then click “OK

Step 10: Click Shift + restore on Win or option + restore on Macand select your the new firmware file that we have created Step 7 then your itunes will prepare your device for restore and then start restoring

Step 12: Open RedSn0w, and click Extras then Recovery fix.

Step 13: You should put your device in into DFU mode, and the Recovery fix should run successfully if you don’t know how to put your device in DFU mode.
Step 14: Once the Recovery fix is completed, your device will be completely restored back on iOS 5.1.1.
Note: If you decided to untethered jailbreak your iOS 5.1.1 firmware on iPhone 4 or lower check our tutorial posted here for Redsn0w

--------------------------------------------------------------------

How to downgrade iOS 6 to iOS 5.1.1 (Guide):

Download RedSn0w 0.9.14b2 on your Devise (Windows/Mac).
Then download the 5.1.1 IPSW file that is compatible with your device.
Make sure you know where you have your iOS 5.1.1 blobs, they should be in Cydia or on your Pc.
Put your Device in DFU mode.
Open the RedSn0w Device and go to extras.
You will then see the options for the SHSH blobs and you will see a button labeled ‘Stitch’
Click it and then when the window open click on IPSW button and choose the appropriate file.
In the blobs options choose ‘Local’ if your blobs are on your computer or click on Cydia if they are located in Cydia.
The files will be stitched together.
You will now have the firmware file for the iOS 5.1.1, cleverly Apple has discontinued to sing in iOS 5.1.1 but you will still be able to complete the downgrade.
In the Redsn0w software go back to the two pages and select Pwned DFU option, this will restore iTunes using the firmware. If you don’t do this step then you will get a 1600 error and you will not be able to use the app.
When you open iTunes it will be in recovery mode.
Click the option button and click on restore.
Select the iOS 5.1.1 file which will has a prefix of 13 numbers that are the ECID of the device.
Once restore is complete you will receive an error message, go to RedSn0w, extras and then click on ‘recovery fix’.
For the recovery to be initiated you will need to out the iPhone in DFU mode.
Once this recovery is completed your iOS will be changed from iOS 6 to iOS 5.1.1.
