please what can i do to this error (unable to recognize specified ipsw) while trying to jailbreak iphone 3g with readsnow 0.9.4 please help

what firmware on your iphone?
iy you have 4.0 use redsnow 0.9.5b4-5

of course you have to put this firmware iPhone1_2_3.1.2_7D11_Restore.ipsw or iPhone1_2_3.1.3_7E18_Restore.ipsw to use redsn0w 0.9.4 and if redsnow not recognise them it mean ur downloaded firmware is damaged

try put that firmware in redsnow folder.

the firmware is 3.1.3.........can i restore it with 4.0 and download readsnow 0.9.5 to jailbreak it.....and it is going to possible to unlock.
