How to unlock locked i phone
 

Hi i just bought an iphone 3gs from uk. the only thing that appears on the screen is the emergency call and the plug. can i unlock the iphone without having to buy a sim of the network that it is locked to? thanks
i saw other topics but they could operate the phone except calling numbers
