hi guys, i want to upgrade my unlocked iphone 4s to ios 7. i want to get the step by step instruction so i wouldnt mess things up. thank you for any help that would be given.

Connect it to iTunes and tick upgrade button.

If your phone is factory unlocked then no it wont be relocked

it is not factory unlocked that's why i fear. so please help me so that even if it relocks i can get a way of unlocking it again
