iphone 4s error and recovery mode - GSM-Forum

Hi, Got an iphone 4s was restarting after every couple of minuites, but when i try to restore with ios6 failed to do so and shows error 9 and now stuck in recovery mode. Tried with several pc with win 7 and xp but same thing. Any idea how to fix. Org it was 5.0.1.

its not properly in dfu mode.....

Use latest version of itunes

dfu mode by press home buttom and power swicth

Hi, Well I tried both way but now giving me error 1600 and phone in dfu mode can't even bring recovery mode any more. Please help. And yes i am using the latest version of itunes and tried with xp and win7 both.

its depends on situation of device,sometimes this error and recovery mode comes because of hardware problem.not always but mostly nand flash ic problem comes recovery mode.carefully check device before try more times software only.

is there somebody who has fixed the error 9 ??

I am also having a 4S with error 9
Sometimes bootloop and error 16xx
