I need help, Iphone barred or..?

The iPhone 3gs I have purchased of someone else is stolen. I stupidly bought it off'f him thinking that I could get it unlocked without thinking, for a very cheap price ofc! And I'm here to kindly ask for your help for a solution to getting this iPhone to work.

Before I start, these are the specs of the phone:
-iPhone 3gs (white case, if that makes a difference)
-CARRIER IS O2 (remember this one)
-Version is 4.3.5 (8L1)
-Model MC132b
-Modem Firmware 05.16.02 (Ultrasnow does not support this for unlock)

I know its on o2 because I just do, I've restored it twice, maybe three times and whenever I put my tesco sim in it says o2-UK rather than Tesco, so im assuming its o2 (specially as it says Carrier is o2).

First off, I stupidly upgraded it to 4.3.5, from 4.3.3, I think. I have tethered jailbroke it because i thought I could unlock it via Ultrasnow, but unfortunately ultrasnow does not support the modem firmware.

However. I have tried to restore the version to a lower one, following many guides from youtube (trusted, and highly commented ones) and I still get the 3194 every time I try to do it. I have heard of that umbrella programme w.e that is, but I have no SHSH blobs as this is the first time with the iPhone.

If anyone can help me trying to get this iPhone unlocked, I would be greatly happy and pleased. Please give me step by step and simple information/guide! As I am new to the unlocking process and new to the iPhone itself.

update ur basband version with redsnow.. than unlock with ultrasnow

Sorry that does not help at all... I dont know how I am meant to update baseband with redsnow

did you try to downgrade it to 4.1 ? and for erreur 3194 is alredy posted in forum

Is there a guide on the site to do it?
I have not tried that yet.
