i have iphone 4 4.2.1 with 01.59 baseband and stuck in apple logo, now i want to restore it wuth ifaith, can i do it with iphone.rif posted method??

no you need 5.0.1 CUSTOM with snowbreeze. THAT will preserve baseband 1.59.

ifaith just "sign" original firmwares with readed shsh from phone, means will write original firm in it, included BB.

OR you must check cydia server with umbrella for saved shsh, maybe exists 4.0 o 4.0.1 or 4.0.2 shsh in server.

it is absolutely possible my friend, just use ifaith v1.4 to extract your iphone blobs/ticket,(DUMP SHSH BLOBS)(follow the onscreen installation in ifaith) after that use the same ifaith (BUILD *SIGNED* IPSW W/BLOBS)to build a signed custom firmware,and your are done.Use ireb to enter dfu mode, open itunes. hold down SHIFT button on your pc keyboard, click on retore on itunes and browse to where you saved your custom firmware, sit down and wait, good luck

Sorry for mistake I doesn't read your question properly. Yes you can preserve your baseband with the help of ifaith and snowbrez also. I prefer snowbrez to you because it's simple in use and sorry agin for miss guiding you.

According of my experinenc u can do it with ifaith and snowbrez... I did it many many times
