Iphone 3G 8GB no WIFI ! - GSM-Forum

After one day when i restore my iphone with same version 3.0... i don't have wifi !!!I try reset network,another restore,shut down my iphone many time,disconect battery...same problem ,no wifi.I mention i didn't drop and before works fine and he got same version.I don't understant this iphone...got someone an ideea?

Same problem with my iPhone OS 3.1 (Jailbroken and Unlocked).
There's the Wifi Address and Bluetooth,but if i turn on Wi-Fi it does not find any network.

what error you have ?
u got no wifi networ @ al
or u see the network &Unable to join?

Have you tired doing a reset on your network settings? ensure also your ssid is showable

For me when i do on to wifi appear spinnig wheel for search and dissapear....after a while appear again and dissapear!

My iphone just don't find any network,protected or un-protected.

i have reseted network settings,restore iphone and upgraded to OS 3.1 and still is not working.Tried and some other methods,posted in some forums,but none of them worked.My last chance is to reset my router.

My problem still wait for an expert!It usseles my iphone now,no network wifi...i can't do anything with him...maybe some one teach me how i can use network with usb or bluetooth...i try with pdanet but i can install into him beacuse i can't!

well i hope solution of mate that rehot that cristal ic works for you guys, same happened to me a few months ago my iphone 3g wifi stop working just one day without any reason, i tried everything in this post and more, without success, after many tries and since my iphone was bought in the cellular carrier i got my contract i decide to restore iphone to original state and bring iphone to mac store by the way in my coutry we only have one store so i drive for one and a half hour and bring phone to apple, after two days they call me and this guy from the shop told me yes ser your phone is parmanently demage there is no way to fix this problem, we have tried everthing without success our supperiors in cupertino let us know that phone is pemanente demage as a factory fail isue we going to change phone for a newone so my friend if rehot dont work you need to validate your warranty if you have one or buy another phone since apple says that they cannot fix wifi issues by the way after eight months of own my old iphone apple give brand new iphone to replace my old one thanks g o d i bought iphone legally in my carrier in other hand i will have brick in hands

It's common fault when upgrade iPhone and look like that is because in upgrade progress WiFi MAC and BT MAC just don't are put back ... This is a pure SW fault and can be repaired, but it's not so easy ... you need to rewrite desired MAC(s) digits manually in needed fields...

search for iRecovery. If it is a software issue it will fix it. if not... hard luck

Could you please tell what specific damage have you solve with this solution, if "no wifi network" or "you see the network but Unable to join"?
