iphone 3G after downgrade can't unlock
 

The I phone was upgraded to 4.1 version and I downgrade it to 4.0.1 make all unlocking ultrasnow and pushfix but the iphone doesn't pick up the signal made settings reset ,reinstall ultrasnow - resul 0 all the same ,any one meet that problem? can it be unlocked? thanks

The answer is BIG NO CANNOT DO!! just used it as an IPOD TOUCH as of now..... CHEEERS

I am facing the same problem as you...
This happens because of modem version allready upgraded...can't do anything now rather than wait for a solution...:(

PS: There is any solution to downgrade modem version (I have shsh's saved on cydia for 4.0 and 4.0.1) ??????????

shsh cant help to downgrade baseband (modem)

the only "workable" way to downgrade modem on 3G is using app like fuzzy
but only works on verrrrry old bootrom versions.

you can still desolder underfilled flash chip and flash old modem with a programer

but very easy to destroy pcb that way ;)
