iphone 3g,i cant jailbreak and unlock it :(
 

hi all,i got an iphone but i cant jailbreak and unlock it.

i did a lot of procedures(even installing 3.1.2 firmware) but i always get the apple logo stuck forever...

right now i put the phone in dfu mode and used redsn0w to put it in pwned dfu mode to be able to install the iPhone1,2_4.2.1_8C148_Custom_Restore.ipsw but after installing it the phone isnt jailbreaked,i try to use redsn0w using the original 4.2.1(is it right or i still have to use the custom firmware with redsn0w? ) and then i click install cydia and install ipad baseband but when installing the ipad baseband the procedure doesnt continue...

i thought that after installing the custom firmware with itunes the phone would have been already jailbreaked and i just had to unlock it,perhaps im wrong?

P.S: with 3g and 4.2.1 firmware i dont have to use redsn0w to teterd the phone every time the phone turns off right?

Bro 1st restor 4.1 then try to unlock and post reslt i will help u.

if i do so it always goes in recovery mode,i try to kick out from recovery with tinyumbrella but still it remains in recovery mode......


what else could i try?
