Iphone 3G problem with signal - GSM-Forum

Hi, I have problem with iphone

3G
The 3G signal work but GSM signal doesnt work (No signal, No service), where is the problem ? On the board, or can this part solve the problem ? please answer

i have the same problem. so, i replaced the dock assembly. it did not fix it. ( whenever i put in a simcard, it automatically gives me 1 bar without even searching.)

3g signal work nad GSM not work ? So this part dont fix my problem ?

1) Check the antenna wire / copper wire
2) replace it
3) if tht doesnt work try to disable 3g! some networks dont support 3g, if still occurs maybe other hw fault
