i hv iphone 3G 4.0.1 say restore needed after power off ??

plez help to solve this problem

update to 4.0.2
jailbreak wth redsn0w_win_0.9.5b5-5
use 4.0 ios instread of 4.02 to jailbreak
run cydia and download sinfuliphonerepo.com and install ulrasn0w.
run cydia again and add 'cydia.pushfix.info' as source and download.
install hactivation patch(lockdown)
reboot device
done

4.0.x makes the 3g to slow, just downgrade to 3.1.3 and and jailbreak/and or unlock..

after update go to settings/general/spotlight search/disable all

thnx brothers , but the problem when i install ultrasn0w , the device must be rebooted , when i reboot the phone i have restore needed problem

Thats why i said use 3.1.3 no issues... just do it..

simple way , just downgrade phone to 3.1.3 , do jailbreak with spirit then unlock again with ultrasnow 0.93

i just downgroad phone to 3.1.3 ,itunes gives me error number 1014 ,
i fixed the recovery mode problem with IREB ,
i turned on the phone after few seconds gives me 'Restore Needed '& have no IMEI , No ICCID ??????
