Completely remove iTunes and Apple Mobile Device support and then reinstall Latest iTunes or later.

Have any of you solve this problem??? This idea of removing itunes does not work.
Here is my story;
After unsuccessfully trying a couple of times unsuccessfully in my computer with my oldboot iphone 3gs, I went on and try the same process, the same everything in my girl's computer and it was just perfect. The only different, her iphone is with the newboot, so what does this mean? This problem is only with the old boot. Yes, I heard they came out with snowbreeze 2.5.1 which would solve the problem, but it did not. I'm still in the recovery mode because now my iphones does not want to do anything.

I think solution for ios 4.3.1 1601 would similar as of ios 4.2.1's check this

use snow breeze
create custom firmwire
use readsnow to pwaned the phone
then update custom firmire
ur ppbm solved
