Iphone 3gs allways : searching - GSM-Forum

I have iphone 3gs manufactured week 49 from 2009, this device was unlocked time ago with redsnow and change baseband to 6.15, now the *******r update to 5.0 version , the iphone finish the update without problem ( not stuck in recovery loop ) but cant activate by wifi or with original sim ( when put any sim show insert sim for activate iphone in itunes )

Then downgrade to 4.1 with custom firmware and put ultrasnow but never activate iphone only stay : searching
Restore again with 5.0.1 but cant activate by wifi or original sim
Restore with original firmware 4.1 and put cydia by redsnow-win 0.9.6rc16, download repo666 ultrasnow and the result is the same, never found signal.
Copy the imei in another device and this is working ( the imei is not in blacklist).
The iphone never was opened it is in good conditions.
Somebody how fix this?

just reinstall ipad baseband using redsnow......

post results..

same issue as of me today... ive try to upgrade to 5.0.1 then re downgrade to 4.1
no service or searching ..

before i update it it was in good condition running 4.2.1 baseband 6.15

after upgrading only searching in signal bar...

been searching for the fix but no luck as of now

can somebody help us

Try this pro reinstall ipad baseband using redsnow.

unvelibe, its working, thanks man i not was be smart and make all the procedure correct
- flash with original firmware 4.1
- use redsnow for jalibreak and CHANGE BASEBAND
- open cydia and install ultrasnow
- enjoy
