my iphone 4 is when i power on its searching without sim.... i was update with ios 5 after still same.. and when i connect to itune to my phone itune is hang and phone couldn't conect.........................................
pz ineed help.............................................. ................

do the folowing
1- hardrest, power and home buttom together ( iphone turn off--then apple logo show... keep pressing them untill logo out then release)

2- put Iphone DFU mode, and rstore clean origina IPSW5

if this not help ( your baseband had error ) hardware.

i was done that but still same..... language select after showing connect itune when i connect itune itune is hang..........................

then your problem at pc not ur iphone
activated on other pc, or another usb com port.
reinstall itunes 10.5 clean one.

tested 2 pc still same. itunes 10.5 download 4m apple.......... but big problem is showing searching without sim whats this???????????????

your iphone now can not activated with itunes,,

it show searching however no sim inside.

sorry to tell you Your baseband break.

there is 1 way chage baseband chip and try again must b solve ur problem
