Iphone 4 freeze on apple logo - GSM-Forum

Hello I have big problem with this Iphone after update with custom firmware to v 4.2.1.
In this custom file modem is OLD v1.59.00 and can be unlocked but I'm not sure how to active iphone after restore with this custom firmware because when I use redsn0w in first time show me normal screen and the phone is ACTIVED. but when install something and restart the phone show only apple logo and freeze.
I use greenpoison to fix this problem but show me error

Code:

firmware download failed after 60000 ms. Giving up." ... after 60000 ms, error no successful firmware download after 60000 ms giving up,

After this problem I again try to boot tethered device in redsn0w but when start to RESTART the device and to upload first stage the phone automatically power on on apple logo and freeze and CAN'T BE RESTARTED.

Where is the problem in greenpoison or I must to use other firmware with normal modem and again to try with greenpoison.

I also have other question - how to active my phone (i have test card) but show me - not original sim card.

green poison works only on orignal firmware for 4g ,it want work on coustam file, ur handset will be teethered now have to wait for soloution.

hi fr you can't do a jailbreak with greenpoison .becouse your iphone is restoring by costum firemware .(1)ferst instal cydia by redsnow. (2)second do (jast boot tethered).i advice you don't do a restore

Jailbreak with greenpois0n , result stucked.
Than jaibreak again with redsn0w, and your device will power on, and will be unTethered!
Yesterday i succeded this way.

Not possible I think to jailbreak Iphone 4 with 4.21 custom firmware.
To unlock your phone, restore with Itunes with original firmware 4.21 using TinyUmbrella to save the baseband on 01.59.00, you will have error 1013 and the phone will become on recoverry mode, don't worry! Jailbreak with greenpoison (this time will work) then jailbreak with redsnow and unlock.

dont use (redsnow) icon use second icon and make Jailbreak with (boot-ipt4g)

Restore with custom restore 5.0.1 and jailbreak with redsn0w,if you don't like to get thiss error go with thiss steps

1.Turn of Phone

2.Press power button and when you see apple logo go with redsn0w procedure

Note: Redsn0w with ios 5.0.1 have some bugs when you try to jailbreak iPhone when it's on complet,do that's step and you will done.
