Iphone 4 fault need help - GSM-Forum

i have an iPhone 4, it only turns on when plugged into mains and comes up with connect to iTunes, when connecting to the computer it does not recognise the source and does not open iTunes any help many thanks

Is your data lead ok? Does the pc 'ping' when you connect? Try a different usb port and data lead, look in device manager and see if it shows as connected.

Leaving the usb plugged in, hold down both the home button and power for 10 secs to reboot the phone, does that make the pc 'see it'?

Itunes sometimes doesnt 'auto-boot' when you plug the phone in, so manually open itunes and see if it shows the phone.

i think your phone is in recovery mood restart your computer and try reconnect to itunes again make sure your itunes is update to the newest
